Wow that did look like a dumb question, I want pics of aftermarket bumpers with stock side skirts. I have a chance to get a nice amg front bumper but want to know if it'll look goofy?

W124's
you kind of confused me with this ... "(no other like AMG, Wald, Lorinser, etc. installed on a w124?"

Anyways, I went through all my W124 pictures and majority of them are fully kitted AMG's and etc. So I'll just post pictures of ZorroAMG's car since he's only running a AMG GenII front bumper.

For Zorro to have such a low drop he still has well enough clearance.

intrax springs on bump 1 pads on 18's, only way to get lower is to get a smaller tire/wheel combo.

Man, I say if you're gonna do it, do it right. If clearance is an issue, your #1 problem will be the front bumper (hitting barriers in parking spots, pulling into parking lots, etc). Your rear bumper and your sideskirts are less of an issue.

So don't worry about the sideskirts/rear. Zorro's car is gorgeous, don't get me wrong. But the side pics make his car look like it has its butt up in the air since it has the ducktail and the front bumper only.

This is definitely the best-looking example of a front bumper-only installation, but in my opinion, it just doesn't look right.

I'll get some pics up of mine for you later when I had the front bumper with rear and no side skirts.

Enzo, my Benzo
Wow. My car sure is getting a lot of press lately, from this thread to the VIP thread with the gayest form of modding MB's in my opinion....

My car has 215 35 18 all around, 18x8 ET35, the widest setup I can run with my car as low as it is...thanks for the props from some of you...

As for my front bumper only comments, I don't put replica POS fiberglass on my car, so paying stupid money for the rest of the real AMG V2 kit just that, stupid. Besides, in real life my car does not have the "butt up" look, in the one side shot posted, the pic was taken in the ditch looking up. I think the car looks better than with the full kit, the lines are too choppy on the rear bumper and ruin the look. As for sideskirts, my car is too low for them...don't want them either....

Leave my car alone, people!!!

any publicity is good publicity. nobody bashed your car. in fact, your car pushed me to paint mine black. i was looking at the ls430 blackcherry color before. i posted it on vipstylecars to get advice on the front bumper as opposed to the wald kit which i was having trouble sourcing at the time.

i compare mine a lot to yours because my suspension setup is similar and my tire size. only difference is my wheel offsets and im sure spring pad size.

your car is too nice. nothing wrong with just a front bumper. hell, it flows. thats all that matters.

btw, what pad size are you running
