What is my car telling me? Rough!~
So for quite some time now my car seems to idle a little rough. Heres whats it doing. Everytime i go to start up my car, it cranks up and then dies. After the second crank it starts right up. So it only dies a few time when i crank it. Other then that it starts up. 2nd When the car is stared my car is idling really rough like it wants to shutoff anytime soon but doesnt. I changed my spark plugs. What is causing this? Anyone know?

I had that same problem with my 300ce last year and my dad replaced the plugs and yada yada, but it wasnt fixed until he replaced my wiring harness and distributor cap. Then it was fine. Im not sure thats what your having, but it sounds what I experienced.

I don't know if the same applies to your 124 but mine is a late model 124 and my mech has told me "no" but he assured me that they can work with a bit of mucking around
