Exclamation 1992 Merc. 300E , will not IDLE, help !!!

I have a 1992 300 E Benz that will only start if you apply light pressure to the accelerator pedal, and only if you continue this pressure will it continue to idle....It drives perfectly, except for this problem. If you release your foot from the accel pedal it will stall instantly. It will restart with no problem as long as your slightly depressing the throttle. The idel control computer is Brand New, the idle air valve appears to be controlling , because it wont run very well if disconnected. Am not sure what to check next.I have a few shop manuals with a few parts i might suspect, but have no idea where to find them in the car. No component locations in these books. No codes are present, no warning lights flashing. Engine has excellent power when cruising. ANY IDEAS ???

I think it has to do with the fuel pressure inside the EHA. I read somewhere that after a while with the mechanical fuel injection, something in there wears down and you have to boost the fuel pressure to compensate for it and keep a steady idle. My old M103's would do the same thing. You would have to give them just a little gas to get them to start but once they fired, they would normally idle just fine. They would also stall out randomly when coming off the highway or slowing down to pay a toll, but they would always fire right back up again. I took mine to a Bosch certified repair shop and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. When I got my M104 car with EFI, I didn't have that problem any more. Took me a while to break myself from hitting the gas while starting.

lots of cars
I still think it's the throttle position sensor because that controls the idle rpm of the car...
