i just did this on my 91 300e yesterday-should be the same. First remove the seat adjustments-just pry them off with a screwdriver. Then remove the seat adjustment cover(there is a clip on the seat recline thing that holds it on also), and door handle cover(just pry off). Behind the door handle cover, remove the 10mm bolt securing the arm rest. Next remove the door latch screw and cover(slide the cover down). Remove the door lock knob(just unscrew). Remove the mirror cover-if yours is manual adjustment, there is a tab on the side that you can pop off the knob to remove it. Now free the panel from the inner door handle frame, WHILE pulling up on the door panel. DO NOT pull the door panel towards you, as there are no push in type clips that hold it in(ask my passenger side door panel how I know). There are just hooks that need to be release by pulling UP on the panel. If the panel is stubborn and wont pull up, pry by the window scraper at the top of the panel-this will remove it. Once the panel is off, remove the plug for the door lights(if equipped), and your panel is off! Hope that helps,
