Oooh It's that one members car! I love his car - My goal basically once I get the GenII kit.
He bought his Hammer's from the same person I got mine from. He lucked out and got the center caps and I didn't. thanks for posting that picture!

I can't remember his name but I'm pretty sure he's from Houston. He even put up with me drooling on his car.
I have two other pics of his car - I'll post them soon.

Chris (or whoever)
ok, so I finally have a stereo question for you. I have the Sony cd player in the pic below. It's obviously not stock, but it is working with the stock fader switch on the center console. Whe I upgrade, what little (by little I mean big) surprises should I expect on the install? Can I just get a new head unit and wire it right up or will I need all new wiring blah blah blah? They always try and screw me on stuff like this
and yes, this could be its own thread, but I figure it fits into the "ask Chris" theme.

I would get rid of the volume fader all together. Have everything ran through the headunit. Usually, depending on the aftermarket headunit you can expect to see results with will surprise you... in a good way. I have a Alpine headunit in my car and I still have stock speakers - people always think I changed the speakers since they're hitting so good. Anyways, You won't need new wiring. It's pretty easy - I'm sure you can do it yourself!

Well, if it's all pretty strightforward I'm sure I can handle it when the time comes.
Here's another one for you - without the fender spacers, would your Hammers rub?

Without fender spacers I don't rub at all. Only under hard driving conditions when I'm taking a turn hard or hitting a bump/pot hole. Just completely roll your fenders and you'll be okay. Besides, I doubt you'll be running a +28 offset lol

I'll find a pic.
Anyway, that may be the way I go instead of those Hammers - they're just so overdone... jk

very very tasty... very tasty. Stupid question, I think I read that 500e brakes will work on 300ce? Is that or did I actually remember that correctly? Cause if thats the case, I want to get some 500e brake equiptment (what would i need) and some nice rims to replace my dinner-plate rims so you could actually see the cool rotors and bigger 500e setup, as well as get some air behind the rims.

Did you know that 190E owners use our brakes as an upgrade?
