I was considering doing that a while back with my w124. I have some of the parts but by the time I finish buying the phone system and cables, bose amp and cables, it will be a bit expensive and not really worth it IMO. It does not integrate with the car in any special way like the newer cars with steering wheel controls and dash displays. I decided to go with a Alpine system. I will post pictures shortly and I am sure you will also agree it is a better system. I have custom fabricated a mount for the screen so all you see is the square screen and nothing else. No bezel. Looks completely factory appearing. I also get HD radio, Satellite Radio, Nav, Traffic Management, Ipod, Bluetooth, TV, DVD player, MP3 Player and if I choose, rear screens which get to choose what they want to watch.

Don't get me wrong, i love OEM mods but the comand was never meant to be in a w124. It is a tight fit, small screen and very old nav system.
