need two tone leather ideas
My current interior is palomino. The dash and steering are black. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what 2 tone interior would look good. I was thinking of making the inner part of the seats black and leaving the outer palomino. I am not sure if it will look good. Any photochop people that can help?

I've been thinking about changing the leather inserts in the door panels to black for some time now. I've never gotten around to it, mostly because I'm not sure if it'll look awesome or weird. Sorry I don't have a pic to show you what I'm talking about, but they're just the leather panels that are attatched to the door panels. My interior is the same color as yours.

Just off the top of my head I would think that having the center stay palomino and change the sides to black might look better, but who knows.
If you post a pic of your seats, someone may photoshop it for you.

Just picturing it in my head, I don't think it would look very good. The reason is that I don't think the black/palamino is a great color combo in the first place. I definitely agree with your logic that you shouldn't introduce a third color to the car... and I've always wondered why Mercedes made the dash that color- maybe it's to reduce glare on the windshield.
My car is cream beige, which is tan like yours, but is less brown than palamino. Even then, I dont' think the black and beige go all that well together. Adding more black would just look kinda strange. So I'd advise you to just make friends with what you currently have.

The more I think about it, the more I agree with you Pete. Maybe a dark brown that picks up the color of the wood trim?
Ok, I'm starting to sound like an interior designer...

eh, I wouldn't do anything like that. 3 colors in a car would be obnoxious, don't you think? I guess if you wanted a sportier look, you could consider changing the color of the tubing on the seats. Even then, I don't think it will look all that great... just my 2 cents
