mobil 5000 or whatever? Lol, I got my oil changed a week ago and the mechanic kept giving me dirty looks... He only had 4 quarts ready and my car takes 7-8 quarts. He put in the four, checking level each time. After the fourth, he stared at me through the glass and got another case! lol...

So many people use mobile here, wow. its very expensive, costs me a bit over $100 without the filter.
That 5w30 and 0w30 stuff is too thin for 100 degree heat and leaking seals!
I used to own a Buick Grand National that I bought new that I always used Mobil One in but that car had a big turbocharger with a lubricated center bearing that would get hot enough to coke non synthetic oil. The inline 6 in these cars isn't a really a performance engine that really stresses the oil. The big sump on these engines also helps.
For normal driving I think the only advantage Mobil One has over non synthetic is it will last for many more miles without degrading. Consumer Reports did a scientific study on motor oil a few years ago. If you dig around you can probably find it on line somewhere. In my opinion if you change the oil as often as I do using mobil one is throwing your money away.
