Two Cheap Keyless Entry Systems on Ebay

Well, sort of. The reason I mention them is because they're identical to the one that I installed, which gives you two very OEM-like flip key remotes. Here's the seller's usual ad:

Note that the only difference is the key blanks that is supplied - so you can buy this kit for a C-class below and make it work on your W124 by getting the correct key blanks:

Here's another one up for auction, a bit more time before it closes:

This system does NOT roll up your windows / close sunroof / make waffles. However, it of course will activate/deactivate the factory alarm at the same time. If you want more features you're probably better off with a full-blown alarm module that has keyless access features, but you'll probably not get the "OEM-Look" remote. Actually, the hardest thing left for me to do now is to find a correct diameter M-B logo to glue onto the back of the remote, just like the pic below of the factory unit : )

I'll be posting some pics of my install later, in case it helps anybody.

Yes, this alarm can lock/unlock your vehicle and arm/disarm your factory alarm. The instructions on mercedesshop are not very clear and don't cover tapping into the factory alarm. You would need four spdt relays to do the lock/unlock and arm/disarm of your alarm (two if you don't have a factory alarm). As for the window roll up/down and sunroof close, that to can be done, but it would require more relays and you would have to locate and tap into the necessary wires at the convenience module under the drivers side of the rear seat. I did not inplement these particular features, so I don't know the exact wires necessary, a VOM and some experimentation and you should be able to discover what wires are necessary.

I used some instructions in the DIY section of mercedesshop, the rest, I figured out on my own and info is posted on my site
