Camber Kit?

I want to install bilstein sports and vogtlands, will i need a camber kit at all?? If yes, does anyone have a place where I could order it right now? (a link would be great).
I've tried searching, and can't find a definitive 'yes' or 'no'.
i wanted to do the shocks/springs/etc. by myself, but i live in an apartment and have no place to attempt it, called up the local mercedes place and they said they won't do it for safety, etc. etc. wtf... anyway, i just want to have all the parts on hand whenever i do this, so ... camber kit?

a camber kit is usually a cam-type bolt(s) that allow for increased camber adjustment over the stock adjustability. I haven't lowered my w124 yet, but when I lowered my Rabbit, Eibach said I needed the camber kit, but I didn't. They are usually not a big deal to install after the fact, so you could probably install if your alignment shop can't get it right with the stock piece.

Unless of course someone knows for sure if they are needed with our cars...

Is there a such thing and where? My alignment shop couldn't straighten my camber out.

I have Bilstein's and Vogtlands and I don't need an camber since mine isn't so bad. It's slightly negative but not to the point where it's wearing unevenly. I'll probably have a custom adjustable kit made in the future for my whip.

maybe because of the self-leveling (optional) rear suspension??

In my first post, I was thinking only about the front suspension (my Rabbit had a solid rear axle, so no rear camber correction needed).

As for the rear suspension, YES it is adjustable. Jeffrey - I think they didn't know how so they said it couldn't be done. If you have self leveling suspension, camber's not the problem, lowering it in the first place is the problem. But I digress...

Zed got a lot more action on this topic on another forum and here's the best part of the info:

http://www.speedybenz.com

They sell a camber kit there that looks pretty sweet and has gotten good endorsements from forum members.

i've done a lot of searching the last two days, and i've found no less than 4 or 5 different options for rear camber adjustment.. I sent a couple of e-mails, and I'll let you know which I go with.

there's the k-mac kit that's quite popular, it's a set of bushings, that go for $320 before shipping (k-mac.com). speedybenz has the camber arms for $250 before shipping (speedybenz.com). I found a few more people that make the camber arms, but a number of them don't seem to exist any more.
there are pros and cons to both these different types of camber adjustment kits, but I think i'm going to go with the camber arms, they seem easier to install/adjust, plus i like the way they work.
I'm going to buy mine from benzboy (benzboy.com). his are essentially the same as speedybenz (i think speedybenz reverse engineered his from them, from the ancient threads i came across in all sorts of forums). the main difference seems to be that speedybenz uses some teflon ***** to 'self-lubricate' the joint. however, according to the website, it takes a month before they will even ship out the part.
i e-mailed speedybenz 2 days ago (no reply) and i e-mailed benzboy (from searching the net, i saw that people from 500ecstasy.com also use the benzboy camber arms...). benzboy said if more than 3 people order, he'll sell them for $155 shipped (i asked about 3 because that's how many people showed interest in here). i guess if more than 3 people are interested, i can ask him for a better price...?
I dunno. if anyone is interested pm me and i'll talk to him again... i'm getting a set either way, but saving money is always nice...
