I test drove a E 220 & E230, but the initial pick up is slow. Can this be overcomed.

 

I had a 230E with the 2.3l engine and actually i liked it better than my 300e. The mpg was crazy! something like 28mpg and the pick up is almost the same than an older 300e because in S mode it started in 1st gear but i'm not sure. I fixed the oveheating issue by having a relay connected to the aux fan so when it got hot it would turn the front aux fan on. The a/c never really worked so i used it as a regular electric fan.

 

i have a E220 and it has good performance and mpg. i don't really think its slow.

 

Yes I agree with you guys the E 220 & E230 is good. but the e200 is not so, How can I improve the pick up
