ungortunatelly sold E500 W124,Audi A6 , Porsche 930 T
Cool New to the forums! Need help too!

I registered to this forum , because i used to have an E500 W124 , and i sold it because i have put more than 200,000 Kms on it and i bought an audi A6 2.8 and then a porsche 930 turbo... i enjoy the porsche because it has been my dream car ever since , but i want to switch the A6 to something less boring , do you think i should opt for the new E-class with AMG? Or maybe the S or CL 63 AMG? Also i have driven my friends Alpina (BMW) B12 6.0 and this car is also fascinating and then i took a test drive of Audi A8 W12 (don't know if that one is avaliable in the US) and both are just amazing , but i think that there is something about mercedes that is lacking in the other makes... what do you think , what should i do? Because when i sold the E500 my thinking was like , ok i buy this boring as hell 2.8 6-cyl A6 to drive all this bumper to bumper city traffic and then the porsche for fun and weekends (not to mention "family" navigator) but i just lack the power even driving daily in the city , when a guy passes me with an acura 3.2 , lexus GS300 , or E320 i just get mad... and i have the money so put all your suggestions here please... thanx

I'd have to say my favorite Benz hot-rod is the E55 AMG (sorry Adam). The S55 and CL55 are more luxurious cars, but they're also a lot more complex. There's a wholesome goodness about the 210 chassis, it just "feels" good. Not to mention the E55 is faster than an S55, and cheaper.

You are not the first person I have heard say that. A lot of dealer employees really like the 210 chassis. At one point I was thinking of getting a CLK55 or a C32-- both of which are tremendous cars. Both times the Sales Manager, this one was at Penske Motorcars, told me not to because he thinks the W210 chassis is better.

my next car will be E55

After having numerous up scale model vehicles, my first experience with MB has been great. The car feels like little else that I have driven. If this small model is indicative of the other models, then Im sold. I hear that the next AMG E series could have up to 476hp. I would guess so, since this little thing I have gets 349! And I would be first in line to get one. Well right after some of you, of course.
