I recently replaced my radiator and I replaced my fluid with non mercedes. As long as the fluid you are replacing it with is mercedes approved you are good to go, it will say on the packaging what vehicles it is approved for.

I just changed the antifrezee in my E320 95, I would sigest flushing the system and using green antifrezee with a minimum of 15% water, I used one bottle of "Water Wether" for better results.

[QUOTE=archeryblackdog;1747055]... I would sigest flushing the system and using green antifrezee with a minimum of 15% water... [QUOTE]

Are you serious?? This advice is irresponsible. No Mercedes owner worth his salt would use anything other than MB dealer or Zerex G-05 antifreeze mixed 50-50 with distilled water.

The green antifreeze has a completely different chemistry and is never recommended for use in MB vehicles. It has too high a silicate content and the pH is way off. Going below 30% antifreeze in the mixture can lead to corrosion of the system, freezeup in the winter, and too low a boiling point which leads to a host of problems. I'm curious where you got your (mis)infomation.
