I would like to get some help about replacing my factory tape deck , with an aftermarket in dash cd player. My problem is the 8 pin round connector , the one i would like to re -use so i could save the amp. from the trunk and some wiring.
I can not find adaptor for the 8 pin connector - maybe someone had the same problem - any help would be appreciated ! It is a 92- 400e Benz in question.

I had a JVC mp3 cd player put in my '93 400E, and they had to run new wires for everyithing and bypass the factory amp. When they hooked it up to the existing wires, only the front dash speakers worked. They said the new stereo was not compatible with the amp in the car. I made sure they left all the original wiring untouched and simply bypassed the old system so it could be putback to original if I, or any future owner, wanted to do that.
