AC Blowing HOT and COLD

AC Blowing HOT and COLD
Hello guys,
I just got my car back today after a lot of body work. I took it to the AC guys to check the gas. There was very little in there. He did vaccum to clear the system and then put oil and R-12 in there. Everything worked fine...
Later this evening I noticed the vents at the ends of the dashboard were blowing almost hot air and the ones in the center were fine.
Are there separate evaporators for the two? Is there something I can do for this?
