H&Rs work well but the trend around here are Vogtland springs. They're easier to find, cheaper, and they won't lower the vehicle too much. You may want to look for either brand on ebay.

I second the Vogtlands...boy, what a smooth ride. Have to mod how you shim the front, though, as it ddrops the front too low. But, with the stock shocks, I can't believe how good the ride is. Even my mother 69-year old complimented on the ride the other day.

Chris Pham, I've taken pics of how to put in / take out the spring pads....just need time to put them up here.

Vogtlands won't work unless you mod the spring pads so the drop isn't so low in the front.

Sucks I know since I have a set of Vogtlands in my garage that I might not even get to use. Still haven't had time to play around with it.

Rumor has it that H&R's are hard to get for the E420 now. I'll have to call Sanders later and see if it's true or not.

Looking forward to those pictures!

Anyone know if my Bilstein's from the 300E will fit the E420?

Holson Adi had Bilstiens on his E420. You current shocks are probably Bilstiens as well (mine are.)
