Pshh i would put a 347 stroker in mine if i could but the problem is smog! If he ever wants to drive that car then he will need to get a smog friendly engine.
Also there is one big problem why he can't do a engine swap other than the c32 or a supra engine.
Here in california and i'm sure in texas you can't install an engine older than the car. That means anything 95 or above he can install like the engine from a 95 supra.
I say the supra engine because they have the exhaust and intake in the same size. With a v8 you will need to modify the steering configuration and transmission tunnel and a whole bunch of other crap. I'm sure on a 280se or older s classes you can install anything!
