Well I'm not 100 percent sure. But i owned a few hondas and they all made the same exact noise that my benz is making. When I make a turn and accel something on the left rear starts clicking.I'm going in to my mechanic friend tomorrow to see what the deal is for sure.I'm willing to put money on it thats its the axels.

I asked before I have positively never heard of an axel going bad, if you hit something then yes but your benz has a thick solid axel with 2cv boots at the end that ive never heard of being broken unless something slashed the boot open. Since the rear wheels arent associated with steering those dont flex and dont wear out. You may need a bearing but thats a whinny noise. Clickin will either be exhaust hitting the side or a rear diff. Most likely bushings in the rear suspension or it just creaks cause its prolly cold in NJ and worn out bushing make noise.

For you to need an axel, I was looking forward to hearing about how you hit an engine that fell out on the highway or something ridiculous like that

I really dont know the history on this car. I did a vehicle check on the car and it came up clean..But it was a texas car and the interior was changed to black from a newer year. The exhaust was rotted and the rear breaks was seized. There could be a chance that this car either got flooded or it was out of commission for awhile.

lots of cars
Are you sure is not an emergency brake part that fell off or hitting something? Your lugs maybe too long?....Bad bearings will hummm all over the place but i don't think an axle could make a noise like that...

sounds very much like a flood, get the whole underside checked out, suspension components and flex discs for cracking. If it was indeed a flood and you only owned it for a little while, get the tranny fluid changed along with diff fluid. Flood can damage rear diffs very quick if water leaked in. The control arms have offset bushings in them and thats how your alignment is adjusted so get all the rubber components checked out. If you spray all your control arm bushings with dw40 and the noise stops then thats where the issue is.
Get your car to the doc for a check up

Havent had chance to go to the mechanics yet.It did rain here yesturday and I noticed the noise was gone. I guess that maybe the bushings.I'm gonna spray some silicone spay on everything and see how that pans out.

When I first put my amg hammer wheels on the lugs were too long and broke the springs ont he parkign brake shoes. the spring was bouncing around inside the hub and making all kinds of noise not to mention a squealing on the car which would go away on and off.

Another culprit could be a wheel bearking that has gone bad, where it can make noise too.

Either way I highly doubt it is axels. I have seen my mechanic replace axels once and that was on a 40 year old car.
