My shifter doesnt shift into gears as it used to....I made a thread on this same issue about a month ago and am barely getting around to it...Sometimes reverse wont shift where the R is but will go into reverse between the R and P....is this what I need to cure the problem?

Yes, link Bushings should do the trick.

Belive it or not my car did the same thing yours is doing once, a long time ago.

It did not want to shift out of park and into drive, the shift lever would move but the car would stay in place, two days later it was back to normal I never really understood why...and it hasn't given me a problem since
