It's so retarded, Okay. Theres the rear dome light right? Both rear step lights on the door, mmk? Ok, well... ok uhh.. yea ok. Well, the rear left door when opened turns on the rear dome light ONLY, ok close that door and it turns off right? Well open the rear right door and both step lights turn on but no dome light, WTF? Also that one switch int teh fron that's stupposed to turn on all the lights or whatever only turns on the rear step lights, again WTF? And now the front dome light doesn't turn on, bulb is fine, fuses are fine, reading light turns on though. Oh and also are the A/C fan switches supposed to pop out when you push one? :/

really double and triple check the fuses. they can blow and be really hard to tell. make sure the fuses aren't corroding into the fuse box.

But would a blown fuse not make it turn on at all? Cause they do turn on (except the front dome light) But different doors turn them on.

there is a relay inside the instrument cluster that controls the dome light and door sill lights. Can't remember the part number, its on the right, next to the warning buzzer.

corroding fuses could work intermittently. It sounds more like what mhorn is saying - relay.

Ok well I removed the instrument cluster and found err two relays I guess, lol. I unplugged the bottom left one and the front door lights turned off but nothing else and i unplugged the second one and nothing happened so i dunno if it's the right one. Also i removed the front dome light to check it out.. Again... and once I was about to put it back the dome light worked. I closed the door and it shut off in a few seconds like usual. I opened it and it didn't work again. ARGH THIS CAR IS SO RANDOM >_<. lmao

Are you the original owner, maybe someone did some crappy rewiring/switching, its either that or loose connections at junctions or the relay.

It's been through a few owners, I managed to get the dome light to work though Just fiddled with some relay in back of the instrument cluster.

You can also check the wiring & connection from the door switch going to the step light & rear dome light.
