Disabling alarm on 94 E420

Disabling alarm on 94 E420
Ok so I guess the alarm switch in my driver side tumbler
is taking a ****. So I decided to disable the alarm altogether.
Removed carpet, removed black panel covering the
module and unplugged both plugs. Car won't start so
plug one of them back in ie. the smaller of the two.
car starts right up...sweet. Well not for long because a few hours later
the damn thing was clicking and the alarm LED was flashing.
So any ideas on how to disable this damn thing?
