Advice on buying '95 E320

I am looking at a 1995 E320 Wagon and need input on what to look for on the car prior to buying. Price for a 1995 E320 wagon. Recent Head replaced and new transmission. 139K miles

Wiring Harness, it is infamous.

1995 E320 Kombi, 2006 R350 Pewter/Black
With a 139k miles, you can pretty much be assured that the wiring harness has been replaced, no way the orginal would last that long, same goes for the head gasket.

The thing to check would be the condition of the self-leveling rear end. No idea how to accomplish that outside of a shop, however.

Easy, just throw a couple o' hundred pound sandbags and see if the rear end sags, if it does then you know it's gunked.
