Two miles before I got to school, the brakes stopped working (I got them done two months before--no way should brakes be worn down in two months!). UC San Diego sits on a hill, so one would think it would start rolling backwards. Oh no--it kept NOT STOPPING. The car wouldn't stop any more, so it was either hit a bunch of BMW's on the right side, some VW's to the left, or...
I survived, but the car did not. Suffice it to say, I made it to my last final exam ever on time. One of the art professors (I coincidentally crashed it in the Fine Arts parking lot) suggested we use it as an art project (jokingly). One of the facilities guys bought it, and used it for parts.
When I got home, one of my roommates found a full brake pad on our driveway...
