Engine Changing

Hey yous guys give me your thoughts on a m103 to m104 engine onversion for a 89 300CE. Please don't just put "sel your car and buy another one" because most of us can't just do that.

I also have an '89 300CE and I am currently swapping my 3.0L M103 for a 3.2L M104. The M103 needed $5k worth of work and new parts so I bought a pristine M104 for the same price (cars & parts are a lot more expensive in Australia than in most other countries). The new engine is also going to have a turbo kit fitted to it.
One thing to keep in mind is that your old factory computer and harness will need to be changed. You may as well do what I'm doing and buy an aftermarket system (Motec, Autronic etc) to run things. It will also improve the power output.

Should be finished in 3-4 weeks. I'll let you know if it was worth it.
