Rear differential pinion seal

Has anyone ever replaced the rear differential pinion seal? Mine started to leak. I've done it before on other cars, but never on a MBZ. I know that the Volvo has a collapsable spacer on the pinion flange, because the flange nut also tightens the pinion bearings, and the spacer is not re-usable. Does MBZ have something sililar or is the removal and re-installation of the flange just a simple operation? I checked with a local dealer and they charge 2.9 hrs labor for it. That sounds too much. Or maybe some one has access to MBZ manual with descritpin on how to do it?

TPlease help if possible.

Thanks.

Okay, nobody knows how to do it. Does anybody know where I can get info on what it takes to replace the stupid seal. Come on, folks. I don't want to pay $250 to replace an $9 seal.
