Can I Play A Portable DVD Player On My Battery For 4 Hours

So my girlfriend is dragging me to this town where she has an exam for 4 hours and I don't have anything to do. Im planning to take my portable DVD player and watch a couple of movies for about 4 hours with lunch in between which means driving around a lil bit. So it wont be 4 hours straight.

Will the car battery go kaput on me ? It will be connected though the lighter and I will hook it up to the car stereo for more sound.

Feedback is mucho appreciated !!

I'd be more worried about the stereo sucking power...depending what setup you're running. I'd say you'll be OK, especially since it wont be solid four hours. If you are afraid of it running low, just start the car every now and then and let it run for a few min.
