i am putting 8" wide tires in the front with a 1.6" drop. I am almost 100% sure I'll need them. I would really appreciate it.

g-funk, it's not difficult to do, i got mine off a member on the forum, and it came with instructions. in fact you can go to home depot and pick up the things you need, in all honesty.

i think i remember Chris saying that if you have Vogs or any lowering kit and 8" tires they are NEEDED. those are not his exact words, but you get the idea since he had the setup I am going for. i think he said it still rubbed though

i got them for like $300 off of ebay, so like $400 with shipping. And they came with tires that got me around for like 6 months before I got the correct size.

wow, thats a good deal. I just paid a little over $1100 for wheels and tires. The thing is, I ordered them LAST Monday with 3-day shipping, and I still don't have them. Hopefully the UPS guys haven't got lost in the Sahara...wait thats in Africa . I guess I should stick to FedEx from now on. Anyways, I really do like the wheels, they match your car good.

It's something I recommend you should do along with rolling your fenders. It really helps out a lot.

That way in the future you can run wider tires.

It was an necessity that I had them because my wheels were 17x8 with an very aggressive ET28. You should see how wide they are on my E420. The sidewalls go past the fender.

are you going to roll the 420? i think that would look sick with the Wald.

does adequate clearance become more of a problem when you lower a car?

here's a pic of what the spacers do, i think this is 'natural_person' 's car.
you can see that the base of the fender (where the cladding meets the sideskirt) is slighty pushed out, and not completely aligned with where it used to be.

on request from my new dad, ChrisDPham, i am posting this on here.

Now that the hot weather is back, somewhat, here in Atlanta, my car has started what I like to call "coughing". For some reason, whenever it is 70 degrees or above my car seems like it is running out of gas when I start it. I usually fix this my slowly reving until the car idles smoothly. At first I thought it was flooding, but I didn't smell gas anywhere in the engine when it was running. I am now at the conclusion that it has to be clogged fuel injectors. Is this a worthy diagnosis, or am I way off here? thanks in advance for answers

(None of this really explains why it only happens in heat though )

Dude,

It's your OVP fuse (could be the entire relay but I doubt it).

follow these steps.

1. Disconnect battery
2. take battery out
3. Once battery has been taken out you will see black plastic wall behind battery tray
4. Remove plastic protector wall
5. Once you make it past plastic wall you will see what looks like two enormous appliance plugs. On top of one of these plugs (the one closest firewall) there is a flip lid.
6. Remove 10A fuse (red, prong type) inside the fliplid and replace.

Est. time or repair: 10 minutes

PS: Please, for the sake of our forums use the SEARCH function.

Good luck.

Just so my opinion gets enough coverage and Chris reads it....

Ok, Chris, SERIOUSLY, you need to relax. Who gives a ***** if he posts a thousand times a day without searching. As long as he puts the subject correctly in the title, we can choose to read it or not. It's a free world and you need to stop acting like a mod/post ****/child. Let him be an ignorant fgt and never learn things on his own or search on his own. HE will be the one suffering in the real world when his mom takes her teet out of his mouth.

I am tired of his posts too, but I am also quickly growing tired of reading your hate rants on every post of his. You can ignore him. I won't bring it up in detail, but you were a bit of a pest yourself when you first joined....you aren't perfect, or an MBWorld God

A thread for him to post in only is fu(king wrong, Hitler.

Mark,

I'm pretty certain Garfunkle asked for Chris to make him a thread, I don't think Chris decided to grant himself the God title and make Garf a "garf question only" thread.

Or at leats that's what post #1 states.
