Has anyone aver heard of this brand? I was looking for some inexpensive (I replace them instead of turning them) brake rotors and found them on http://www.mercedes-benz-parts-direct.com
They are dirt cheap, $25.01 ea for the front and $17.65 ea for the rear. The brand listed was OPparts , which I've never heard before.

Going super cheap on a benz is not always wise, especially with something as critical as brakes. I'd stick with Ate or Brembo. Those rotors may be cheap, but who knows how long they will last. I'll wager those cheapo rotors are from china. I wouldn't trust the braking performance of my mercedes to some china-man in a sweatshop.

there is bit of truth in the saying, you get what you paid for.....consider profit from the manufacturer, shipper, wholesaler, retailer, ect....for $25, that leaves about $10 for the material......not much for stopping a 4000lb car, thousands of times, sometimes in panic situations, wet/dry/cold weather.....I wouldn't trust them NOT to crack after getting hot, and the splashed with water while driving in the rain......or how long before they warp?.....stay OEM or upgrade....NEVER downgrade...we're talking brakes here, not light bulbs.....your **** and your car deserve better

Thanks, you're all correct. I e-mailed the seller and asked for the info and he replied that it is a "house brand" and the stuff was made in either China or India. And of course both countries have long standing reputation for producing high quality items.

Chindian products don't belong on a Benz man.

does that include TIRES, RADIO, SPEAKERS, TELEPHONE, DVD, NAV, or knock-off replica wheels? It's getting hard to not get East parts, besides...most of the electronic stuff comes from there no matter what brand your car... went out for Chinese food last night, the take-out box said MADE IN USA ...they assemble computers, we make the boxes......

I am saying don't replace Benz parts with Chindian parts. That take-out box is funny
