87 300TDT rear right wheel bearing
Hi all
Once again I need some advice from you Benz gods. My 87 300TDT wagon is making a roaring sound - on and off, from the rear. At first I thought it was the rear bearing, then I thought perhaps the wheel might need balencing.
Well, I pulled the wheel off and I felt a relatively large amount of play when i wiggled the rotor left to right, atleast two milimeters of give.
So, my question is, has anyone here replaced the rear wheel bearings? Do you have a diagram of it? Pictures? Any help?
Heres what I gather, take the caliper - 2 bolts, take the disc off - 1 align screw, remove the large center nut on axle.... then what?
