notice the front bumper has no vents. I have never seen a US w124 with such a bumper. anyone know why?

HID/xenon lights have been used in the movie industry for a while now. HID lights have appeared in numerous vehicles throught the early-mid nineties films.

I first noticed HID lights in that john travolta flick where he has crazy mind powers...the lady he falls in love with has a 1930's ford pickup (or something like that) and it is equiped with HIDs.

they are basically the same thing as fake rain in theatrical films, they have to fake the rain (make it thicker) in order to be captured on film.

It's an asthetic thing I guess
