Howdy, I have a new harness that does not fit my 94' wagon (early apparently), supposed to fit most, just not mine. The bright bulbs at the shop threw out the original packaging, but I have the number, 124 440 29 33. The harness was quoted as fitting 124.032/052/066/092. I bought this harness on this forum originally, I would like to get $450 to offset the $850 I paid for the other one, and I'll include shipping at that price. feel free to email me with any questions. I'd like to visit Nigeria, but am not interested in shipping this item there... Thanks, Robert

Mine says 124-440-4905. Is it compatible? My car does not have ASR.

My car does not have ASR, I have revised the posting (I did a little searching through my original email regarding the harness). I had relayed what my onetime mechanic had listed it as (bad idea!), The revised info should be correct, there is a tag on the harness that matches up # wise. As far as fitting, I'm not the expert, I would suggest checking with your local dealer, or perhaps another forum member might be able to clarify this. The VIN # for my wagon is WDBEA92E0RF293911, and it doesn't fit it.
Thanks, Robert

That number, 124 440 29 33, fits my model, a 95 E320 built late that model year. I was originally sent number 124 440 56 32, made for the earlier models. This is the first I've heard of number 124 440 49 05. The best way to check is to find the part number of your original wiring harness, located on a tag about 1-2 feet from the bulkhead connector, just as Robert suggests.

That's where I found the number 124 440 49 05. I think it has been replaced once, but I'm not sure.
