Right now I use that car as long distance runner or totting elderly parents around. It might have to go up for sale sometime later however.

So, who's taking that sweet 500? McBear, did you buy it? It's close to you and it fits with all the other 500s. Get it fixed and you'll have how many 500s???

As my sig says on most of the other forums, "I Need a 12 Step Program or a 12 Car Garage!!"
The fender and bumper are already off and tomorrow i start digging into the other stuff. The ABS UNIT now has about a 1/16 inch clearance at the front.
It is also going to need a complete exhaust system. The current one has been Ohio'ed. This will give me a chance to put on a good high proformance system.
Jason, this will make three. The Bornite car [Plum] is dead stock. This one will get mild mods and the Katrina Project is getting a full redo that will include both appearence and major performance upgrades. This project has been going on for about six months and right now the car is just a shell, down to metal only. We have had to keep pushing this project aside as customer cars come in and get priority.

The exhaust had rust pretty much up and down. Previous owner also had lowered the car a bit so the pipes leading to the CATS were pretty much flattened down. I think the exhaust was original. Not bad for 175K miles in the big picture. I would have been changing it anyway.
Good news was a guy on the East Coast had put a Full CATS and Back Borla system on his 500E, didn't like the sound and put it up for sale Friday. It should ship out tomorrow.
