Exclamation HELP! How to plug spark plug wires back on!?

GUYS WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!

so yesterday I decided to do a little "minor" tune-up to my baby. I bought a new Air filter, gave it an oil change and threw in some sea-foam, plus some new sparkies.

Well, I went ahead and removed the dist cap, along with carefully "popping" out the plugs funnels.

Well wouldn't you know, the sonofab!tch wire wouldnt snap back onto the spark plug! I tried everything in the motherEFFIN book to plug the wire back onto the spark plug to no avail!

Well after about an hour and a half of painstakingly trying to hercules the wire back on the spark plug I went ahead and used some DEMI GODLIKE FORCE which of course ended up BRAKING the connector base!

so now I have this wire with this retarded funnel end with no BASE on which to hold for leverage!

WTF did I do wrong?????!?!?!?!?!??!??!?!

I now obviously have to buy new wires, might-as-well by the whole distribution pack.

any advice before I HERCULES my way through the new set???

I'm SO f%($ing ANGRY!

I used the butt of the screwdriver and a quick push to snap them on, but I have the m104 engine( not sure how there are situated on the m103 engine)

LOL

I basically tried to "plug" the wire back onto the spark plug like any other person would, but mine wouldnt "snap" back in so I basically broke it.

Have a look at your spark plug wires, they connect to the sparkplug via a "funnel", well that funnel has a plastic base (it's red, if you take off or roll down the rubber boot)

that is what I broke.

I dont have pix right now as I'm at work...sux.

Be sure the "caps" aren't on your new plugs. There is a threaded stud at the end of the plug that may have a rounded metal end that threads on to the stud. The M104 used the rounded end and the M103 used the threaded end. This may be your problem.

Check the socket of the spark plug wire, it has a lock inside, it clips on to the head of the spark plug.

Is it possible that you had the wire on ? Then forced them and they broke? When I did mine on Bigblue they came off hard but just slipped back on so easy I fig they could not be on! BUT THEY WERE!! [

thanks for the replies guys.

Well it turned out that the Super coppers had this little rubber boot attached to the plug itself, when I pulled the wire out the little rubber boot was stuck inside the funnel, making an obvious obstruction without me noticing....!

had to spend 102.00 for a new set of wires from autozone....hey at least they are BOSCH!

sux...
