All this talk about wheel spacers, I have heard that at high speeds, the ride is a little choppy or unstable or feels weird. I cant confirm where I heard it from, but I did hear it. Whats your say on wheel spacers for both front and back !!
BTW, The brakes look good man. One day I will have to drive all the way down from Canada to check out your ride and cruise with you

To be honest - I have no clue about that problem when it comes to wheel spacers. I guess I'll let you know when I get and mount the LM's!
but for reals Fezz, get your *** down to the OC for one of the meets and we'll cruise. I'll let you take my car out for a spin.

Quick question for you Chris,
All this talk about wheel spacers, I have heard that at high speeds, the ride is a little choppy or unstable or feels weird. I cant confirm where I heard it from, but I did hear it. Whats your say on wheel spacers for both front and back !!

but in our case, our cars are also hub centric, whereby the wheel is centered on the hub and the hole for that is the right size, not too big, not too small. if you over torque the wheelnuts you can deform the roundness of the hole it sits in slightly and cause a slight "pull" as the wheelnut is snugged down. this takes it off center if the hubs arent the same size. not a problem if you are using OE wheels, but if you are using aftermarket wheels that could go on any car, then the hole is usually the largest size for any application and a hubcentric ring is employed to fill that "space."
this is one of the primary reasons for getting your wheels torqued to the manufacturers specs with an accurate torque wrench, and and also why you should use a star pattern to snug down lugnuts.

Shame we didn't met - I didn't really get to meet majority of the W124 owners. too busy kicking a few back.
