Unhappy Help Is Needed !!!!!!!

Hellooo,

There is something wrong with my car's engine E320 with 175k on it .. It gets noisy when I reach 87 miles/h....

today I have crossed around 35 miles with a speed of 75 mile/h and every thing was just find,, suddenly the ABS & SRS lights came on and the battery light is on but not bright as it should be.

I turnd the car off, then turned it on but it's like the power that goes to the started is short although the car started..

Do you have any clue ??? is it the Wiring harness ???

thanks

Dora the Explorer
the electrical part sound like wiring harness, the noise sound like suspension/alignment/wheel balance.

thanks man for the reply

The Wiring harness was my first guess as it is a very old one.

regarding the noise, it comes from the engine it self. as i increase the speed passing 87 miles/h the sound starts appearing and when i slows down it goes..

I am thinking seeing ur coments before taking it to the shop next week

thanks

the noises you HAVE NOT described dont help to diagnose the problem.

as for the lights, probably your wiring harness, but possibly your OVP too.

I tend to agree with shadowgriffen. The Alternator lamp will only come on if the ground circuit is complete through the alternator. The ground can only be supplied if the system is not charging or there is a failing diode in the rectifier. The lamp being dim leads me to suspect the failing diode. The failing diode will also affect the effectiveness of the charging system and not just the lamp.
