Cruise control-
My cruise control does not work at all either. I would fix it, but I think its a lot of $$$
Fuel Level indicator-
Mine jumps after I get past 1/2. I usually keep it over 1/2 anyways, but I heard the fuel sensor can be a beast to get at, so that means more $$$ in the labor section of your bill

Hi,
I dont know about the cruise control, but if the gas meter gets stuck or keeps "flattering" around half, it may be the sensor in the tank. No big deal and always worth a try. Get into the truck, remove the backpanel of the carpet, there you'll find the gas tank. On the top you will see a large hex-nut and an electric plug. Pull off the plug, open the hex-nut and pull out the sensor. Dont do it when the gas tank is completely filled up (it could be a mess), do it when the gas tank is below half or less. Replace the sensor by a new one, dont try to "repair" it, dont get one from the junk yard, dont work for long. What happens is that the sensor has a floater to indicate the gas level, this floater may fill up with gas and does not float properly any more. Replacement part is less than $ 40.-
