Help me pick my wheels.

I just bought a 1-owner 1995 e320 with 47k original miles. It needs tires, so I'm going to do wheels too. Any suggestions? Feel free to include pictures if you are running something nice on your car.

Thanks!

Zedstyle, what's the make and model for those?! oh and the size and offsets.

I notice that there aren't too many white W124 with the solid color cladding, mostly the older 300 with the black front and rear bumpers... very clean.

Sorry for the hijack Gatorbait...
FYI, see the link in my signature, got some +1's for sale, if you're on a budget.

mgw, they are TSW Holstens, 18x8, +35.
people i know like them because they look oem-ish, and not too flashy, but still sharp. i like them because they're different from the usual wheels i see on 124's, and they seem to match the car well, make it look a little more luxo...
jgajito, thanks for the comments! i love my car, just wish i had one of those knock-off wald front lips, and i'll be happy

I've seen those on 20" Chrome on a 300M or 300C... nice choice on the machined or blem look vs. chrome.

Thanks for the help. Do the 18's rub? I did some searching on the site and the overwhelming opinion seems to be 17's are the right fit.

The 225/40-18 on a 18x8 ET35 wheel will not rub, even with, in my case, H&R lowering springs.
Oddly enough they don't give an oversized appearance as the diameter is very close to stock, and the cross section doesn't look out of scale to the wheel well

If I were to do it again, I might go 17's instead of 18's simply for ride comfort. 18's leave me with little sidewall and on the rough roads around town, that can get annoying.

I too have TSW's that I had powdercoated to blend with my bumpers.

Very Slow Mercedes
Zedstyle has the best looking wheels I have ever seen on a W124 and I think I have seen it all,The only thing that might look better is Aero II,but they can't be had on a budget....

With some custome flares or 500E fenders, I bet it'll be perfect.
It's very clean.

Monoblock II replicas- 18x8 ET 35, 225/40/R18, fenders rolled, H&R Springs, Bilstein Sport shocks, no rubbing (well it's EXTREMELY minor). Sorry, I haven't taken any good pics of my car lately...

This one shows the car facing uphill... so the drop is actually lower than it looks in the front...

Same deal here.

Nice pic man makes me miss my 300E even more. Question though I was thinking of buying some monoblocks from Discount tire. However, I want to get some tires from around my area. Where do you guys get your tires mounted?
