1994 E-320 Wiper Issues

1994 E-320 Wiper Issues
I've searched through the forum and haven't been able to find anyone who has had the same problem. I have a '94 E-320 Sedan (single wiper) and am experiencing some problems. The wiper will not operate at all except in the washer mode (hi, low, etc do not work at all). The washer cycle appears ok, I'll get the typical 3-4 passes but when the cycle ends, the wiper parks above the normal resting position (just low enough where it doesn't impair forward vision).
My instinct is the combination switch (wiper/turn signal) needs replaced. I am definitely looking for more input, though!

I forgot to mention, the turn signals are functioning properly and I am not experiening problems with anything else.
