I have always admired the w124 wagon-one of the best automotive designs, period. I am looking for a 94-95 E320 wagon in black with black interior--if I can find one; 94-95 because of the beautiful hood/headlights and 229 hp six-- Now for the fun bits I have planned: original AMG body kit for subtle but menacing good looks, monochrome treatment except for grille, Eibach springs with slight front rake ( lowering rules out a 4-Matic purchase!), Now for wheels-this is the easy part-I have a set of period-correct original AMG 3-piece 17 x 8 wheels with the little chrome allen bolts. I will finish it off with a mild tint all around and a de-badged tailgate. Not a Hammerwagon or anything, just a looker. What suggestions / opinions do you guys have? I would appreciate sourcing help for the AMG wagon-specific body kit for 94-95
and recommendations for the widest rubber I can run with the 17 x 8 Monoblocks. Thanks guys...

Widest back rubber if it's not lowered and depending on wheel offset would be MAYYYYYYYBE 235's....225's will work on a lowered car with possibly some rubbing...215's without a hitch...

w123 eurospec wagon on bags with an e55 drivetrain swap.
i'm going to run 215 in the front and 235 in the rear.
these are T1S which are not made anymore, but I should get the same stretch/look from the tires I purchased. tread width is the same. I will lower the **** out of my wagon. the rear fenders will more than likely need to be rolled and possibly pulled as well. I love these wheels. BBS 301's were only made in 5x100, but if I could find a set in 5x112. these would be my first choice. but at over $4K for a set. I'd rather buy a w123 wagon and add to the collection. My women wants to trade her car for a w210 wagon. Hoping to have all three wagons in the familia soon. Will make for some cool photo ops. Good luck with the project. Wagons own all!!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

nice wheels crr1612. are those 2 or 3 piece? 15's huh!? I'm on the hunt for a set of 16's for the w123 wagon project. Didn't mean to hijack your thread, monoblocks are OG too!

Wagon suspension
I would like to revive this thread and ask if there's W124 wagon specific springs and shocks? I searched on Tirerack for a '94 E320 wagon but no springs came up. Can anyone recommend the brand and model # for springs? Are only fronts needed and the SLS for the rear will just be adjusted? How low does the rear SLS go? Thanks in advance.

When you take a close look at the rear sls, you'll figure out how to lowers. A little experimentation, not a big deal. Basically your fooling the hydraulics into adjusting for a different load.

SInce the sway bar and bushings are MB Sportline spec on the wagons. You can get off easy with front Sportline springs and struts. The rear can be adjusted with the sls to compensate for the front drop. When you drop the rear it firms it up. I know because I did this and it's exactly what I wanted. Not too dramatic yet flat in the corners, and quicker rebound.
