Dead A/C
Both my air-conditioning and my fan do not come on at all.
I tried all the switches and settings and nothing.
I used 2 different intact fuses, but nothing happens.
HELP!

I'm not sure if this is the case with the '92, but some of the W124 cars have a *secret* fuse box below the main one. Maybe the blown fuse is there. Also, there is a built in circuit breaker that kills the power if there's a short circuit in the HVAC Controller, and then resets automatically when the short goes away.

If you are low on freon the compressor will not run! I have sim problem but I have a leak which I fear is the evap! When I put in some freon the pressure came up and the compressor ran till it leaked back down!

...but the fan doesn't come on either. If the system was completely flat (empty), the fan would still run and blow warm air around the cabin.
