Unique Sub enclosure
Not sure how many have put the sub in the passenger footwell, but I completed my custom enclosure this past week.
I went with a Pioneer Premier 8" slimline sub that only requires 2.25" mounting depth. It puts out about 120 RMS and 300W max. I will be using a Pioneer GM3300T amp which puts out 150WRMS so they should be well matched. This with a new JVC DVD head unit that if you look close you can see.
I used the full width but had to change the rear angle 1/2 way up to avoid some of the odd protrusions. Installed behind the carpet I think it looks pretty discrete, and since my GF is only 5'-4" I'm not too worried about the loss foot space.

Did the same thing in my cabrio. I currently have a Focal 11 in there. I sounds amazing. But I'm surprised you didn't mount the box on the rear deck. I mounted a 10 Pioneer slim design woofer on the underside of the rear deck. The box only comes down 4" off the rear deck.
Your in Oakville.... I'm in Waterdown just a little west, you should come and check it out.

I just couldn't bring myself to cutting up the rear deck. I had a hard enough time convincing myself to replace the stock deck But now I that I have I am very pleased. Joef would love to see your set up, but the next month is crazy, moving to Aurora at the end of the month.
