nice. i like it, but i cant help but feel its missing something. maybe its because you went from a big kinda whitish lens to a clear with components not taking up its entire space. hard to explain...anyways, hows the light output? is it halogen or xenon?

Those are hologen projectors, but I suspect a HID retro fit would look nice, not sure about the beam pattern, but it would be nice to see how well those would accept HID's.

I can help you with the wiring issues on your headlights, also might have a buyer for your euros, so pm me a price.

I'm glad you're happy with them- that's really all that matters.

IMO, I have always thought projectors just look a bit off on W124's... like they are too much of a departure from the original design to flow properly... I think they look a lot like the terminator's eyes:

Don't really like the whole two-tone(silver/black), but you matched it with the grille and it makes it all blend together.

Have you tried to consider painting the lower trims underneath the lights to complete the whole black front-end? just messed around with the photo... see attached.

I think a silver match grille to the body color and the chrome projector light would work also. As for the XENON's HID/Bulb question, these are standard H1 H4 bulbs not actually the XENON conversion kits, the wiring you are talking are probably the US 4 to EURO 6 connectors(daytime driving lights/connect to parking lights).

Nice lights, I am planning on getting the same ones, except im going to get the ones with all chrome.

I have some questions about the lights.

Some sellers are claiming they have halo angel eyes, like you see in BMWs.

1) Do yours have the halo angel eyes? does the large projector have it? what about the small projector?

2) Is the small projector the fog lamp?
3) what is the bulb above the small projector? is that the city light? what size bulb is it?

4) is this a 4 pin (9004 bulb) or 6 pin headlight (H4 bulb)

5) do you know the manufacturer?

Man - those projectors seem to follow you like creepy eyes...

Your car looks cool - keep the euro's as back up though; I doubt that the lenses on the new lights would take more than a couple of direct hits from stones...

atomicstreet - the same guy i am planning on buying from too (but the chrome ones).

earlier in your pm to me you said yours headlights weren't the halo angel eyes.

but he is claiming that the ones (including your ones) are:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-93...1227QQtcZphoto

Did you pay $199 for them?

because i was only interested in the halo angel eye ones, and i didn't want to buy from a seller who is claiming they are when they aren't.

so, could you pm me your item number and check if the item description said dual halo angel eyes?

----

as for you the wiring and you only getting high beams on, i am thinking that by looking at the picture on ebay, the new projectors look to be used for 4 pin sockets. And you had Euros on before you installed them (which are 6 pin). So therefore, you have to swap your 6 pin sockets with the 4 pin sockets (and the color wires have to go into different numbers in the sockets). Check this out. Without looking at your car, i think that is your problem.....but you are in good hands with 2phast, he knows what he is doing.
