400E, E420 average water temps?

400E, E420 average water temps?
Anyone out there rocking the V-8, this question is for you: What kind of temps do you typically see through the gage? My car has been running at or slightly above 100C since having had the radiator and several hoses replaced. At first I thought it might be air bubbles, but it has been months with no change and 100C (212F) seems a bit high to me. Any thoughts?

I'm in Phoenix, and it's been over 110 for about 5 weeks now. That said, my temp readings don't vary too much. I would just like to see them closer to 80-90 than 100 or 105. I considered switching to Evans, but the eventual under-hood temps would likely be too high and the car doesn't boil over now, so it hardly seems worth the cost and effort.

My '93 400E runs about the same as Eliot's. If I sit in traffic or in the bank line for a while with the a/c blasting, it may get to 107 where the fans come on. As soon as that happens, it goes right down. As long as your aux fans work properly and the temp comes down when they come on, I wouldn't worry much.
