Fault code 26
Hi there. Recently the cold upshift delay disappeared on my '94 E320. Last night I checked the diagnostic LED and it flashed code 26 "Upshift delay switch-over valve open/shorted". Does anybody knows how to fix it, or where to even begin?

Well, I think I figured at least part of the problem. I disconnected the green (AT side) vacuul line from the switch-over valve and applied vacuum to it. There is a vacuum leak there. So, do I have a problem with the AT Modulator valve? That's where that green line connected to, right? I found AT modulator valve for $30-$35. Has anyone evere replaced it? How difficult is it?

Revisiting the issue. Apperently I was wrong in my assumption that the AT Modulator Valve was bad. The green vacuum tube rather goes to the passenger side of the transmission, and not to the AT Modulator, which is on the driver side. Does anybody know if it is normal not to have a vacuum there, I mean on the green vacuum tube going frm the switch over valve down to the upshift delay valve?
