SRS light reset

1970 300SEL 6.3 , and a couple younger MB's.
SRS light reset
Car : 1993 400E, two airbags.
Car had front accident damage and two airbags deployed.
After body repairs, both airbags are replaced.
Question is now :
- can de SRS module be reset, there are some reset tools on ebay, but are they any good ?
- or do we have to install a new SRS module ?
