tell me what you did to make youre wife agree!!!
i'm still not coverd in that sector either, and that's a really important setback in my project!
but i might get lucky, win the lottery or something... that would probably get her off my back

yes, it does look great!
how mutch did you bore out?
i guess you went for a higher comp. set of forged pistons too... but what about the valves? enlarged them as well? or just a head-job and springs? (to go with the cams)
the reason i'm asking, is that it seems pretty hard to squeeze 600bhp out of just a hea-job and forged internals...
best of luck to you, this project surely is interesting!

I have my own project going, but your car makes mine look like a fluffy bunny rabbit. With a pink bow.
I envy that you have the knowledge, skill and time to do the work yourself - my car is at the mercy of others & doomed by winter again.

one question to you s500r :
how difficult is it to built frontfenders/hood (oem e500 style) made of carbonfiber?
i like such things verry much because it safe a lot of weight.

This is just such an amazing project.
Regarding the carbon fiber body parts, are you concerned about getting in an accident on the track? If you get into a wall or another car and break one of those fenders, I would cry (and I'm sure you would too)!!

500E's
On the fenders, the weight savings are about 7 pounds per 500E fender from one set of CF fenders that we had laid last year.

how difficult is it to work with fiberglass? are there any special precautions or is it pretty simple? i want to do some repair work on my bumper and was wondering if there was anything to look out for. thanks! everything looks unbelievable!

rooney, there's all kinds of info online about how to use fiberglass. It's a very simple process conceptually. It just takes lots of patience, a well-ventilated room, and more patience. Home Depot is a good source for materials, although a boating supply store is usually cheaper.
give it a google search.
