Question 19" Wheels

I wanted to know if 19" wheels would fit properly on a 300e. I know 18x8 will fit with a 225/40/18, so I was wondering why won't a 19x8 fit with 225/35/19? What is the proper offset for 18's or 19's for a 300e? I know it has been done before but I don't know the proper offset. If anyone has any information please let me know. Thanks!

100% NO.
I have 18s and they would rub like a mother F'er untill I did some mods to stop it. Not only would 19s rub because they are well 19s but the tire size you chose would be to tall. You would neet a 225/30 or 225/25 to get the right diamater and as far as i know no one makes such a tire (and if they do it would be way to expensive). If you were to do this the rim size i would reccomend would be 19x7.5 there is no need for 8s because the widest tire you can fit on the front is 225 and that tire will mate up to a 7.5 rim just perfect.
Take a look at my site for the info on my car.
