No memory to memory seat conversion
The drivers side seat switch is busted on my 94 e320, I have tested the motor in the seat to ensure that its either the switch or the cable and figure that its not the wiring because it "sometimes" works. Anyway I decided to order a new switch from ebay and went ahead and ordered a memory switch as it was the same price and i figured it would work. Well I guessed wrong - at least i think so - as thier are only two connectors on the back of the switch with the memory buttons and 4 on the normal one. Ill swap it in this weekend just for fun but i dont think it will fit. Ill edit if it works. Ive seen this question posed before but couldnt easly find a definative answer - at least easly - so decided I would share my 40$ (80 by the time i buy another switch) and save the next joe some time. If you have info contrary to this please let me know.
