everyone has their own method i guess, i personally hate dealing with clear coating *****, it never looks perfect to me, so i'm an inside tinting of lights kind of guy...

guess it's a moot point now anyway since it's done, but if its glass you can probably get the tint off pretty easily and try to take them apart and do it from the inside, since you're not having much luck with the clear coat and all that anyway...

I think Im going to just bite the bullet and take it to transmeister in anaheim (I think). I know for sure theyre reputable and its worth it to have the benz be reliable again.
$2400 tho...

Speaking of that. I got a ticket yesterday for loud exhuast and painted tails.
I think Im gonna sand it all off and do it like yours Z. Just the top part.

ANyways yeah the cop should have let me go. I just got the car transfered to my name literally 2 days before. I told him I bought the car like that. I was driving my 10 year old sister to church. She was riding vip in the pic right hurr....

What an A-Hole. I have mine half tinted grey not black but it turns orange/yellow when i put my turn signals so i've never been pulled over for that. I think ur headlights are the problem too...check this out http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html
by the way use denatured alcohol to remove the tint since it won't damage the plastic....

no be cuz the are re-treds and the tred fell off about 3 months ago. dad buys cheep crap for this car when he had it. he would buy stuff to make it run and thats it not run well but just work to get from point a to b and now im paying for his stupid.

oh and the 21st of this month is my B-Day and the one thing i want is a battery and tires to get my car running again. or at lest run legally i have changed out one tire. the one in the trunk kinda went boom becuz it was so far gone and the heat wave made my tires warp. witch in turn made them ware abnormaly. *sighs* some times i want to kick the crap out of my car.but then i remeber how much i love it and let it go.or hit one of my friends for telling me to put it on pimp my rides.
