Removing resistor = Cold Start Problems ??

Well, over the summer I removed the resistor and it was fine. Lately, the temperature has been dropping and I having really really bad cold start issues. My battery died, so changed that, still the problem persists. About a month ago I changed the spark plugs so now I am at a total loss.

What could it possibly be? Do you guys think, removing the resistor might have something to do with it?

Took me about a good 15 minutes to get the car started.

Any help or tips would be much appreciated as always gentlemen.

Cheers

Forgot to add, the ABS light is on and initially when it starts, the moment I give it some gas...it sputters and then dies.

That happened to me. Under the fuse box and relay box is a mess of wires. I had to get under there to change out a corroded wire, and didn't put the cover back on correctly, moisture got in there and corroded some wires. It was a $500 fix but my car now works.

lots of cars
I would check this...

1. OVP relay fuse
2. Cold Start Valve
3. Temp Sensor (Not the green one)
4. Idle control valve ( i would just clean it )

Havent really tried anything as of yet. I am at work and its below freezing outside. Not exactly fun. Plus cant get away from my desk for too long.

Prolly gonna take half the day off tomorrow and get it checked out. But I am pretty frustrated at this point. One thing is going wrong after the other, as if it was just beautifully planned.

Ughh....
